The Good: All the correct strategies and ideas are mentioned in this guide, and it is successful in teaching you how to make gold, just not very fast. One of the first things I noticed about Warcraft Riches by Derek Beachler is that it is extremely well organized. It has a section for an introduction, beginners, general grinding, profession, auction house, and 2 bonus guides including fishing and profession leveling.

Warcraft Riches by Derek Beachler comes with a few bonus guides also. The Bonus Fishing Guide is actually one of the better sections of the whole guide. In this section there are actually maps and diagrams drawn out with instructions. Another bonus section available is the Bonus Profession Leveling Guide. The Bonus Profession Leveling guide is not too great in detail, you can not have too high expectations of a free bonus, but why include it in the package if it isn't going to raise the overall value of the content?

The Bad: Even though there is a huge amount of information available to you, it is not the most detailed. Odds are you want to learn how to make gold immediately, not after trying the methods a few times and messing up before finally realizing what the guide means.

The guide puts a very large emphasis on grinding. Grinding can make good money, but it is much harder work than using the auction house or your profession to make gold. Warcraft Riches also lacks a bit in the amount of maps and diagrams built in. Maps and diagrams are a huge help in guides, because if people are purchasing a guide, they are not very sure of what to do. A map with steps and instructions makes a guide almost foolproof.

The Bottom Line: In the end, although this is a good guide, it is just not the best. It covers all of the concepts to making gold, but does not have quite the amount of detail needed to get you out there and making gold extremely fast. It has a great amount of information, and with a little bit of trial and error, you could interpret the information and put it to work for you. Warcraft Riches will definitely get you on the right path to making gold.
